Sandy Knuth, Organist. Sandy has been the organist for an astonishing 41 years. She also directs the handbell choir. Sandy is supported by husband John, who helps tune the organ periodically. Sandy said that when she started in 1962 as the organist, she would continue as long as it was enjoyable. She says that she still loves it, and can't wait until each Sunday arrives.

Cheri Hesse, Office Secretary. Cheri has been church secretary since November 2008, succeeding Jane. She and her husband Phil joined Advent in 2001, right after 9/11. They have two children Sarah, who attends UW-Milwaukee, and Daniel who will begin college at UW-Madison in the fall of 2010. They have been active at Advent almost from the beginning as Phil and Cheri are counters at church. Cheri has been on council serving Finance, Family Ministry and is currently the council secretary. She has also enjoyed as a member of the Evening Circle Women and participates in Friday movies with the Showgirls.

Ethel Kuemmerlein, Treasurer. Ethel has been the treasurer at Advent for almost 20 years. She also works with several committees, including Wills & Memorials, and the Womens Group. She and her husband Robert are retired and live in Cedarburg, visiting Florida and Arizona at certain times of the year.

Lauren Milburn, Youth Director. Lauren Milburn, our Youth Director, lives in Cedarburg with her husband David, who is an Architect and their three teenage children: Carolyn (in college), Meredith, and Eric. Lauren has always enjoyed working with kids, especially teens. Her passion with teens came along as she watched her own children experience and adjust to life as teens. She felt a strong connection to their joys and struggles and now wants to guide our youth in knowing the strength that comes with faith. Her hopes are to establish a relationship with our youth and create open communication and trust.
