Sharing Garden
A shared ministry of Advent and Faith Lutheran Churches, the Sharing Garden shares its harvest with the food pantry at Family Sharing of Ozaukee County. https://www.familysharingozaukee.org/
Our Sharing Garden ministry began in 2021. We began with three raised beds at Faith. In 2025, raised-bed vegetable gardens are planted in the spring at Faith Lutheran and at a member's home at Advent. Gardens are tended by volunteers from Faith and Advent Lutheran Churches. In 2024, the gardens yielded 494 pounds of fresh produce.
You can help by signing up to water the plants and keep weeds in check. A water spigot is available and you can bring your own watering can. No experience is necessary! This is a great opportunity for children to learn about gardening and a less demanding way for newcomers to gardening to give it a try.
