There is an ancient, simple Christian faith practice that can help ease our stress, restore our perspective and renew our hope in these difficult days: breath prayers.
Author Sarah Bessey recently published a Substack column offering breath prayers that we can pray anywhere: in a quiet, dedicated prayer space, or in the car, while walking or doing everyday tasks.
Praying breath prayers is simple, and just like it sounds:
Focus on two lines, then pray them as you inhale and exhale,
in ways that make sense to you.
Breath slowly and deeply, allowing your body to relax. That’s it. MORE HERE
